How Do Dental Implants Work?
Following a thorough consultation and additional appointments for bone restoration where relevant, the implants are placed comfortably into the jaw under local anaesthetic.
Following the placement appointment the jawbone and implants are left to fuse, something which may take several weeks to happen.
Depending on the type of treatment you are having, the crowns may be attached during the implant appointment, or they may be attached after the implant has bonded to the bone.
